David Davis Isn’t Finished Yet
Aug 13, 2008 - 05:08 amDavid Davis, Republican 1st District Congressman from Northeast Tennessee, is convinced of it. Unfriendly forces were at work in his ohsoclose loss to Johnson City Mayor Phil Roe in last week’s primary, he believes. I should say “unofficial” loss because the votes haven’t been certified just yet.
Davis didn’t talk on camera about the primary for five days. Instead, he communicated with the news media and the public through printed news releases. His message: the vote was irregular. Yesterday, he told News Channel 11’s Darius Radzius that Democrats intentionally voted Republican, and other groups took actions to affect the outcome.
To prove it, Davis hired a Washington D.C-based law firm that specializes in such things.
