This past weekend, there was blood on the field of the tax free shopping war.
Okay, maybe not real blood. No calls for “clean up on aisle four!“ But from what I’ve heard from the veterans of the tax free shopping weekend, it did get ugly.
I drove past one of the Tri-Cities Wal-Mart’s, and with a safe distance of about 300 yards, it looked like the week before Christmas.
My parents went to the “W” Saturday afternoon (why? not sure) and reported a cra-ZAZY scene.

We went to Target, K-mart, Sams, Wal Greens and Wal-Mart and didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. I actually bought clothes and didn’t wait any longer in line than usual.
