So I’m dying to know… what do you think about Phil Roe beating David Davis bythismuch.
500 votes. That was all it took in a primary with low voter turnout.
This was historic. According to the Associated Press, a challenger hasn’t defeated a sitting Tennessee congressman since 1966.
Also historic was the nastiness of this campaign. Near the end, they were accusing of each other of practically breaking the law.
You’ll hear lots of opinions from the pundits, but we want your reaction to the vote.

Personally, Josh. I think you should give up blogging.
As far a Davis is concerned, well…who really gives a crap anyway? The dirtbag is gone, TN-1 and our families are safe. Nothing else matters.

Personally I am glad he is gone. Although my choice of candidates is Rob Russell, I am glad that David Davis does not have a chance to do more harm than he has already done.

I can’t stand either one of them. It is time we elect a Democrat from the first district. Will we be like the State of Tennessee in 2006 when we sent the only Republican to the Senate. Elect a Democrat!

I agree that this happened because of a low voter turn out. This is terrible, I know both men and David Davis is a good man and he done everything for us. I know that Phie Roe is not as he appears. He took so much from the city workers it was not even funny. I hope the voters will see this in the future. Thanks
