David Davis Isn’t Finished Yet

David Davis, Republican 1st District Congressman from Northeast Tennessee, is convinced of it.  Unfriendly forces were at work in his ohsoclose loss to Johnson City Mayor Phil Roe in last week’s primary, he believes.  I should say “unofficial” loss because the votes haven’t been certified just yet.

Davis didn’t talk on camera about the primary for five days.  Instead, he communicated with the news media and the public through printed news releases.  His message: the vote was irregular.  Yesterday, he told News Channel 11’s Darius Radzius that Democrats intentionally voted Republican, and other groups took actions to affect the outcome.

To prove it, Davis hired a Washington D.C-based law firm that specializes in such things.

I’m curious, what side of the fence was Davis standing on when Rush Limbaugh or the folks at the FOX propaganda network encouraged Republicans to vote in the national Democratic primary? I have to say most republicans should learn to live by the age old saying “ silence is golden” or face ridicule from people like me, who relish in seeing idiots drown in their own hypocrisy.

I can say anything for or against Roe because I know nothing about him.  However, I will say this about David Davis.  Everything I have ever contacted him to vote on something or contacted him with a concern, he always voted the way I asked him to vote and always took care of any questions I had or got to me to someone who could answer the question for me.  I am a volunteer for a local non-profit organization and he has done wonders for us in getting some very important bills passed

The US Representative is supposed to represent all in District 1 and if a Democrat wishes to let it be known who he/she wants it should be so allowed.  Everyone should be very concerned if there is a law prohibiting anyone from voting in whatever primary he/she wishes.  Our vote should be ours alone and not the concern of some whining, poor loser who couldn’t win on his own record because he didn’t have one.  After 2 years he should have done something for E. Tenn. that would show he deserved to be sent back to DC.  David Davis, let our votes count or you might be the first to lose to a Democrat in the general election.

I guess Davis does not want to give up all that lobbyist money.  Now he may actually have to work for a living.

Perhaps since Democrat nominee Russel is giving up his rock band “Sore Losers” to concentrate full time on his run, David Davis can apply for the job….he seems to be proving his qualifications…..ahahahahaa

Talk about sour grapes….Davis wins by 500 votes last time, and Roe calls him to congratulate him on his win…..and this time he loses by 400 or so, and he pouts like a 5 year old, holding his breath and refusing to come out of his room.  His true character is showing.

Grow up Davis.

I am a Democrat and I have been complaining about Tennessee’s Open Primaries for years.  Republicans have consistently voted in the Democratic primaries to elect a weaker Democratic candidate.  I would like to know what Davis says is illegal about Democrats voting in the Republican Primary when we have open primaries.  It is wrong, but not illegal.  He needs to put on his Big GIRL PANTIES AND GET OVER IT!!!!!!  He lost, now we need to work hard on electing Rob Russell and defeating Phil Roe.
