Perhaps it is not appropriate to call them “predictions” though. Robertson claims that these are things that God has told him personally will happen.
So that being the case, one would think it is safe to assume that these are things that one can pretty much count on as being right. After all, God, as I know Him, is not wrong.
So what does it mean when Pat Robertson is?

I’ll gladly call him a fraud. From his wacky predicitons, to leg pressing thousands of pounds, to calling the methodists “the anti-christ” to his blatant racism and lies (Hugo Chavez comments) this man is a fraud. He asks for money under the guise that it is God’s work. How can a man become wealthy doing the work of Christ??????
It’s really funny, perhaps if he really does talk with God then it proves God has a sense of humor. Maybe God just likes to yank Pat’s chain for fun and watch him squirm on that fabulous show “The 700 Club”. In any event, I’ll go out on a limb and say he fits the criteria set forth in Matthew 7:15-23. He can’t prove me wrong, I can always say that God told me these things.

As to whether or not Robertson is sincere or a fraud, I am glad that is not my call to make.

Robertson has rather set himself up in that Win/Win situation, but one thing he may have forgotten is that God does not change his mind.
I really don’t know what to make of this guy. I don’t think he is a fraud. Maybe he is just getting a little too old and things are getting in his head. He’s too political for a religous leader, if you ask me.
I say this is the year that we capture Bin Laden, discover another energy source, repair social security, fix the economy, and secure our borders, etc.......
