Arlen Spector – Much Ado About Nothing (except…)
Apr 30, 2009 - 09:04 pmArlen Spector has left the Republican party. So? What’s the big deal? Everybody’s talking about how this will critically change the make-up of the Senate. Don’t be silly! Spector’s has never been a vote the Republicans could count on so truly, this is much ado about nothing.
There is, however, one thing about his party-switch that I believe is inherently WRONG.
Why Obama Has My Spidey-Sense Tingling…
Apr 23, 2009 - 09:04 pmWhether captured terrorist suspects were tortured – it’s all anybody is talking about.
The President is being vague. First he said no prosecutions would follow for those who might have ordered or participated in torture. Then he gently backpedaled by mumbling something about the Attorney General weighing in once more information is gathered.
The far left politicians are crying FOUL! and out for blood. The far right pols are outraged and crying WITCH HUNT!
Latest Handgun Measure & the TN House Gets It Right!
Apr 22, 2009 - 10:04 pmEarlier this week, the House voted to allow citizens with state-issued permits to carry their guns in state parks and some local ones, too.
Well, I would hope so.
Drama on the High Seas – The Conclusion
Apr 16, 2009 - 01:04 pmWhile the right measures were taken, the underlying problem still exists. Obviously.
Drama On the High Seas
Apr 09, 2009 - 01:04 amRichard Philips family is holding vigil at their home in Vermont, awaiting news of the fate of their loved one. Taken hostage by Somali pirates yesterday (Wed.), captain Phillips’s life is now in their hands.
Crew members were negotiating for their captain’s return. A U.S. warship is on the scene as well.
At this writing, finding news of what our government is doing about the scenario is either almost nonexistent or purposefully being played down.
I, for one, am intensely curious about how the administration will handle this. It may turn out to be very telling in a lot of ways.
