Now a group from D.C. called Americans United says that they have to stop. And while you’re at it, they say, get that depiction of the Ten Commandments down off the wall.

Feb 15, 2010 - 12:02 pmI used to think that legislation like that proposed by Republican Representative Curry Todd of Collierville was well-intentioned, though nonsensical.
Maybe I have become more of a cynic that I used to be - or maybe more of a realist - but these days I lean more toward the supposition that such legislation is designed to appease non-thinking constituents.
Wow. I AM getting cyncial.

It’s the “party” part of Tea Party that worries me.
