Abingdon Cinemall
Posted On:Sep 05, 2007
Take a comfortable seat in one of 12 theatres, or let the kids see a shorter film and enjoy the full video arcade in the main lobby. There’s never a shortage of things to do on a night at the Cinemall.
In addition to the latest Hollywood hits, the Cinemall features independent and foreign pictures, and exclusive Pay-Per-View events like professional wrestling events, boxing matches and even the Super Bowl.
Every customer enjoys the utmost in comfort and quality, as the entire theatre is equipped with plush rocking stadium seats with an 18-inch height differential to eliminate obstruction from the next row. Also, the Cinemall is equipped with a digital sound system unique in the Tri-Cities area, the only theatre in the region with Fly-Overhead Extended Surround Sound, innovated by George Lucas and Dolby Laboratories. As if that isn’t enough, the Cinemall boasts the one and only Hyperdrive Sound System, which features as many as 65 speakers in all theatres.
The entire Cinemall experience is well worth an admission price less expensive than that of national theatre chains. Opened in 1997, Cinemall is a family-owned-and-operated business with an emphasis on personal service and an optimum movie-going experience.
