Mom and Dad Grow Up
Mar 30, 2009 - 04:03 pmI have accepted – even embraced – my own aging. For the most part, I’m good to go. No, it isn’t my aging that troubles me. It is my parents’. That, I wasn’t prepared for. And nothing will bring home a parent’s aging and their mortality more than when they get sick.

And a recently-released study confirms that our sadnesses are killing us. Literally.
Sheesh. That fact in and of itself is depressing! But since knowledge is power, let’s buck up and look at what we’re dealing with here.
A Little Music, A Little Fashion…
Mar 07, 2009 - 07:03 pmI keep my eyes and ears open and though I’m not much of one for trends (grew out of that, thank goodness), I do like to know what’s up. And I was tickled to see that some of the big fashion trends for the coming season are fabulous for women over 40!
