A. questions for school board candidates.
(1)If elected to the school board what would do to reduce the rising number of high school drop outs in the city school system.
(2)if elected to the school board what would you do to improve parent involvement in assisting the school system with their childs education.
B. questions for city council candidates.
(1) what would you do to find ways to pay off the $109.7 million dollar debt the city owes with out adding an additional tax burden to the poor and middle working class citizens.
(2)what would you do to attract businesses to the city that provides jobs that pay wages above the minimum wage with health care and benefits for the employees.
(3) there is an increasing need in the city for affordable housing for the citizens that work at the low income businesses like the retail stores and restraunts located at exit 7, what do you think the city needs to do to address the demand for providing housing for those people.
