Deeds makes campaign swing through region

We will endorse a Democratic candidate ahead of the June 9 primary, but at this point we urge citizens to take a look at each of the candidates. They are Terry McAuliffe, former chairman of the Democratic National Committee; Brian Moran, a former member of the Virginia House of Delegates; and state Sen. Creigh Deeds, who made a campaign stop through the region on Wednesday.

Stay on top of credit during recession

Don’t let all the talk of “credit crisis” coming out of Washington make you numb to checking your personal credit. Risk-averse credit card companies are cutting credit limits on cards, sometimes below what a cardholder currently owes.
